Plans being made to reopen Jerusalem Palistinian consulate.
On Tuesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with leaders in the Middle East to discuss the next steps to help the region heal after the nearly two-week-long conflict between Israel and Hamas. Secretary Blinken announced that the United States would be providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people while continuing to refuse to conduct diplomacy with Hamas.
A major step toward that support of Palestine is the reopening of a Jerusalem consulate to conduct diplomacy with the Palestinian leadership in the West Bank. “I’m here to underscore the commitment of the United States to rebuilding the relationship with the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian people,” Secretary Blinken said. ”Palestinians and Israelis alike deserve equal measures of security, freedom opportunity, and dignity.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For God to give Secretary Blinken wisdom on how to conduct diplomacy in the Middle East.
- That God would protect members of the State Department during this trip.
- For the Biden Administration to help bring about God’s plans for Israel and Palestine.
